We really do take into account how braces and orthodontia is going to affect the face, because there is an effect. Some treatment approaches will sink a face in, others will fill a face out. It really depends on the face as to what is needed. Some cases need a little more fullness. Some cases are a little too full. So there are all kinds of effects we can have on a face. The fact that we use them in a constructive way, we’re aware of them and using them to our advantage, it really does separate us from others who may put the braces on and let the teeth fall where they may. God gave you those teeth and that’s it - no. We really take control of the smile, we take control of tooth size, shape, we recontour when necessary. We will reduce size when necessary, we will reduce profiles, push teeth back, or fill them out. So in addition to straightening teeth, we’re giving you the best look in your midface. We try to proceed with as much control of these side effects as we can.”
