Orthodontic Spacers Philadelphia

Description

Dr. Kellyn Hodges describes orthodontic spacers, also known as separators, that create space between the molars. The spacer is a blue rubber band that is inserted between the molars by being stretched out. As the spacer contracts, it gently creates space between the molars. The spacer creates room for dental appliances in future visits.

These are spacers or separators. They're little blue rubber bands that gets inserted between the contact points of your molars. They're designed to create space so that in the next visit, the bands are able to be placed. We place these spacers with an appliance that stretches it. The purpose is to stretch the spacer so that we can then insert it between the contact points.
