Several considerations will affect the cost of your Invisalign treatment. At your initial consultation at one of our Philadelphia offices, your orthodontist will consider:
Length of Treatment
Your total will depend primarily on the length of treatment you require. The duration of treatment and the number of clear aligners you need will have the most impact on the overall cost of your treatment. The typical Invisalign treatment takes 12 to 18 months. However, in cases of more pronounced dental misalignment, treatment will take longer, and the price will increase accordingly.
Additional Treatments
To qualify for Invisalign, you must have healthy teeth and gums. If your dentist needs to treat decay or gum disease, additional services like fillings or deep cleanings will increase your overall costs. Insurance coverage for orthodontic treatment varies widely from one plan to the next. Our team will take care of all insurance claims, helping you maximize your insurance benefits. We accept most insurance plans, which is a great way to cut your total Invisalign treatment cost. We recommend choosing a plan with good orthodontic coverage for your age group (some plans only cover people under 18) and sticking with that same plan for the duration of treatment so you get as much coverage as possible.
