Dr. Brianna Yang
Dr. Brianna Yang was born in Seoul, South Korea. She has a diverse upbringing, growing up on three different continents and in nine different cities. She has been calling Philadelphia her home for the past 9 years.
Dr. Yang obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with the highest academic honor, and was inducted into Matthew Cryer Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. In Dental school, Dr. Yang was involved in research projects on oral cancer and presented her findings in national and international meetings. She received numerous awards, including an award given to one graduate from each class by the American Association of Orthodontics. She continued her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Pennsylvania, where she served as the chief resident.
Dr. Yang enjoys giving back to her community and is passionate about providing gentle and personalized orthodontic care to improve smiles and quality of life. When she is not working, Dr. Yang enjoys spending her time with family and friends, reading, playing tennis, hiking, and cooking.
Dr. Colleen Kristofor is a native of Philadelphia. She completed her undergraduate degree in Business Management at St. Joseph's University. She then moved to Chicago to attend Northwestern University Dental School for her Doctor of Dental Science degree. Dr. Kristofor continued her specialty training at Northwestern University, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and a certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Kristofor's professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kristofor enjoys spending time with family and friends, cycling, running and sailing.
Dr. Dayan was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He left home to pursue an Ivy League education at the prestigious Cornell University, where he double majored in both Philosophy and Science and Technology studies while completing his pre-dental courses.
After Cornell, Dr. Dayan remained in the Ivy League and completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. His excellence in dental school was reaffirmed by his acceptance into the elite orthodontics program at the University at Buffalo. There, he obtained both a Master of Science in Orthodontics and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Orthodontics. The program is extremely selective—accepting only 4 applicants from across the United States each year.
Dr. Dayan is recently married and enjoys spending time with his wife Marjorie. In their spare time, they enjoy getting together with family and discovering all the great places that the city has to offer!
Dr. Kellyn Hodges
Dr. Hodges was born and reared in Philadelphia where she excelled academically and studied opera as a lyric soprano at the Philadelphia High School for Girls. Dr. Hodges then went on to Howard University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and valedictorian of the Chemistry department in 1988. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine and Masters Degree in Orthodontics at Temple University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Hodges currently owns and operates three orthodontic practices in the greater Philadelphia area. Customized and detailed treatment designed to enhance the natural smile and facial beauty is her sub-specialty. Dr. Hodges is the expert orthodontic consultant to various ERISSA Funds and Unions in the Tri-State area, overseeing and reviewing the orthodontic cases of other orthodontists and assisting in appropriate treatment approaches for their patients. Dr. Hodges truly considers it a privilege not only to be able to help people improve their appearance, but also to touch lives in a positive way.
In addition to her scholarly achievements and professional accomplishments, Dr. Hodges loves teaching and speaking at churches and in the community about self- improvement and empowerment. As the servant leader of the Vacation Bible School at Bethlehem Baptist Church she began speaking and teachimg about faith and life-balance to various organizations throughout the United States. She has been called to share her learned insight and experiences with others who desire to live a life that is balanced and fulfilling.
Dr. Hodges has numerous charities that are dear to her heart and volunteers countless hours with a number of civic organizations mentoring, speaking, planning or serving in whatever capacity is needed. Her most gratifying efforts, however, are building wells for desolate villages in Africa and adopting African children in various ways.
Dr. Hodges lives her life believing to whom much is given, much is required.
Dr. Hodges is very happily married to Dr. Eric Hodges, a former class-mate and well known Endodontist in Philadelphia. They have three children and currently reside in the Philadelphia area.
