Invisalign Cost

Invisalign® treatment is easy, discreet, and affordable. But many patients of Kellyn Hodges Orthodontics are concerned about the cost.

The average cost of treatment is comparable to that of traditional braces, and many insurance plans contribute to the cost of treatment.

Because treatment is customized in every case, Invisalign costs can differ greatly among patients at our Philadelphia, PA, area offices.

Average Price Range

According to Oral-B, the average cost of Invisalign is $4,000 to $7,500. However, prices vary based on the practice and a number of other factors. Orthodontist Kellyn Hodges and our team can provide you with your Invisalign cost quote during a free consultation at one of our Philadelphia area offices in Bala Cynwyd, Bensalem, or Montgomeryville, PA.

How to Make Invisalign More Affordable

This simple, effective, and comfortable treatment may be more affordable than you think. Visit one of our Philadelphia area offices for a free consultation so you can find out how many sets of trays you'll need, how long treatment is projected to last, and what your cost would be with or without insurance.

Dental Insurance

Insurance coverage of orthodontic treatment varies widely from one plan to the next. Our team will take care of all insurance claims, helping you maximize your insurance benefits. We accept most insurance plans, which is a great way to cut your total Invisalign treatment cost. We recommend choosing a plan with good orthodontic coverage for your age group (some plans only cover people under 18) and sticking with that same plan for the duration of treatment so you get as much coverage as possible. In most cases, insurance only partially covers the cost of orthodontic treatments.

Financing

For patients with minor coverage or no insurance, we offer payment plans with no down payment and low monthly payments. Financing can place any out-of-pocket expenses associated with Invisalign within your reach. Instead of paying the full lump sum upfront, you can pay for the cost as you progress through treatment. Breaking up the cost of clear aligners over one or two years can make it much easier to fit this orthodontic option into your budget. Instead of paying $4,000 upfront, you can pay about $222 a month for 18 months, making Invisalign much more affordable for our Philadelphia area patients.

My experience at Dr. Hodges's office in Bala Cynwyd was amazing. The staff were so friendly and professional. I was a bit apprehensive about having the molding done before the Invisalign and she put me at ease right away with her easy going demeanor and willingness to go that extra mile to make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this office to anyone who is considering having braces or invisalign. I must also say it was a wonderful experience because they have bilingual staff at this office.

I love the progress of my teeth and how professional the staff are. Every visit I’ve had has been a great experience but the most recent visit stood out. I had the pleasure of meeting Lin and I literally felt like I was in such great hands from the moment I sat in the chair. She is very experienced and took the time to educate me on everything I needed to know. She is also so kind, patient, and knowledgeable and on top of that she has such good energy. I just wanted to write this review to make sure it is known how much people like her are appreciated and how far being kind goes.

Why Do Costs Vary?

Several considerations that will affect the cost of your Invisalign treatment. At your initial consultation at one of our Philadelphia offices, your orthodontist will consider:

Length of Treatment

Your total will depend primarily on the length of treatment you require. The duration of treatment and the number of clear aligners you need will have the most impact on the overall cost of your treatment. The typical Invisalign treatment takes 12 to 18 months. However, in cases of more pronounced dental misalignment, treatment will take longer, and the price will increase accordingly.

Additional Treatments

To qualify for Invisalign, you must have healthy teeth and gums. If your dentist needs to treat decay or gum disease, additional services like fillings or deep cleanings will increase your overall costs. In addition, teeth whitening or other cosmetic procedures can be performed to enhance your results, resulting in additional costs. At our offices in the Philadelphia area, we have a dentist that can perform these dental treatments.

Replacement Aligners

Undergoing Invisalign treatment requires patients to keep track of their aligners during the brief periods throughout the day when they are removed. While some Invisalign plans, including those tailored to teenagers, include replacement mouthpieces, others may require that you purchase an additional aligner if one becomes lost.
