“Had an amazing experience. Long journey of 2 years with my Invisalign, but didn't feel the time because the staff was very receptive and accommodating, Dr Hodges and others involved in my treatment paid great attention to the details. Definitely recommended”

Paying for Invisalign: Insurance Coverage & Financing

We accept most forms of insurance and will work with your plan to maximize your benefits. If you are uninsured or need help managing out-of-pocket costs, we also work with CareCredit® financing at our Bensalem location.

Based on your credit, CareCredit can provide interest-free or low-interest plans that allow you to move forward with treatment without straining your budget. We also offer in-house payment plans with low monthly installments.

Your free consultation is the best place to start. We will review your goals, create a custom treatment plan, and walk you through all of your payment options.

Free consultation

We take digital impressions, photographs, and X-rays to evaluate your teeth and determine if Invisalign is a good fit.

Custom treatment plan

Using 3D imaging, we map out exactly how your teeth will move from start to finish.

Wear your aligners

You will wear each set of clear trays for about two weeks, keeping them in roughly 22 hours a day. Remove them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.

Progress checkups

Visit our office every six to eight weeks so we can monitor your results and provide your next set of aligners.

Your new smile

Once you have finished your final set, we may make a few last adjustments. You will then transition to a retainer worn while you sleep to maintain your results.

Invisalign vs. Braces at a Glance

Both Invisalign and traditional braces can straighten your teeth effectively. Here is how the two options compare:

Visibility

Invisalign trays are virtually invisible.

Braces:Use noticeable metal brackets and wires.

Comfort

Invisalign's smooth SmartTrack® thermoplastic will not irritate your cheeks or gums.

Braces:Can cause soreness from metal hardware.

Eating

Remove your aligners and eat whatever you like.

Braces:Require you to avoid crunchy and sticky foods.

Hygiene

Brush and floss normally.

Braces:Need special tools like floss threaders.

Treatment time

Many Invisalign cases wrap up in about 12 months.

Braces:Typically take 18 months or longer.

Not sure which option is right for you? Dr. Hodges and our team can walk you through the pros and cons during your free consultation at our Bensalem office.

Invisalign for the Whole Family

Invisalign is a great option for both teens and adults, and our Bensalem office makes it easy for the whole family to get care in one place.

Teens

For teens, clear aligners are far less noticeable than metal braces during an already self-conscious time. With our Bensalem office conveniently located near schools throughout Bucks County, fitting appointments into a busy schedule does not have to be a challenge.

Adults

Invisalign provides the discretion many of our adult patients want at work and in social settings. If you have been putting off orthodontic care you missed earlier in life, it is never too late to get started. Or if your teeth have shifted, we can refine your results.

Invisalign can treat a wide range of concerns, including crowded teeth, gaps, overbites, underbites, crossbites, and open bites. If your case is more complex, we can recommend an alternative from our full range of orthodontic treatments.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if Invisalign is right for me or my teen?

The best way to find out is with a free consultation at our Bensalem office. Dr. Hodges will examine your teeth and bite, discuss your goals, and recommend the treatment that fits your needs.

How often will I need to visit the office during treatment?

Invisalign patients typically check in every six to eight weeks, which is less frequent than traditional braces. These appointments consist of a quick check-in on your progress, and then you’re out the door.

Why choose an orthodontist for Invisalign instead of a general dentist?

An orthodontist completes years of specialized training beyond dental school focused specifically on tooth movement and bite correction. That expertise can lead to more precise, longer-lasting results.
