More than Just Orthodontics
As orthodontists, we understand that sometimes patients need more than braces to make their smile shine. Dr. Hodges has implemented a variety of cosmetic and general dentistry treatments into her practice so that you can achieve the most all-encompassing healthy smile possible.
Teeth Whitening
Our team wants you to achieve a bright white smile in addition to a beautifully aligned one. We offer both in-office and take-home whitening options to cater to all patient needs and lifestyles.
In-Office Whitening
We offer professional-grade in-office teeth whitening can brighten your teeth up to five shades whiter in just one office visit. Most patients request our in-office whitening as soon as their braces are taken off so they can achieve the most dramatically enhanced smile possible.
The in-office teeth whitening process consists of coating your teeth with a peroxide-based whitening gel for a few minutes, and then repeating the process up to three times. Oxygen molecules in the whitening gel work to eliminate stains from the surfaces of teeth until all that is left is a bright smile. Our whitening treatments are safe and effective, and Dr. Hodges will answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Take-home Whitening
Our take-home teeth whitening treatments are effective, convenient, and can be implemented into your schedule however you'd like. They use the same peroxide-based formula to deliver exceptional results in a shorter time span than other whitening gels.
Simply wear the whitening aligners for about 30 minutes per day and, in about two weeks, you can begin to enjoy your revitalized smile. Be sure to ask Dr. Hodges about receiving take-home whitening if you are currently wearing Invisalign®, as both treatments feature comfortable aligning trays that can be removed. You can easily remove your Invisalign® aligners at night and replace them with your whitening trays.

Smile Makeover
For patients that want the most customized, uniquely tailored combination of treatments, a smile makeover may be right for you. After an in-depth consultation with one of our esteemed orthodontists, they can best determine what your smile needs to achieve its optimal health and beauty.
Firstly, we will address any alignment issues. Once we have mutually agreed on an orthodontic plan, we can discuss teeth whitening and periodontal treatments. Perhaps your smile could be a few shades whiter, in which case we can recommend either in-office or take-home whitening gels. We can implement a variety of periodontal care techniques that can soothe inflamed gums and restore your periodontal health. Our ultimate goal with smile makeover is to help you achieve your most beautiful, most unique smile possible.
Oral Surgery
We offer oral surgery for patients who may need teeth extracted because of decay, trauma, or other damage. Our surgeons can also provide care for patients who require a sinus lift, a frenectomy, have experienced broken bones in the face or jaw, or for the removal of oral lesions.
Tooth Extractions
The extraction of one or more teeth may be necessary to maintain your oral health in some circumstances where there is extensive damage or decay, gum disease, injury, stubborn baby teeth, or a tooth has not erupted correctly. Tooth extractions may also be recommended when planning your orthodontic treatment as overcrowding can prevent proper alignment. We work with reputable oral surgeons to provide safe, effective procedures. We can also work with you to provide appropriate restorative care after extractions, including dental implants.
Periodontal Care
To ensure your long-term oral health, we offer both surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatments. For effective deep cleaning, we provide scaling and root planing treatments to remove plaque from the gum line and smooth the root surfaces. We also offer gingivectomy, in which we remove infected gum tissue and reshape the gums to help prevent future infection. Dr. Hodges and her team can perform these therapies during routine checkups.
Root Canal Therapy
Our doctors can provide gentle, effective root canal therapy to prevent the extraction of a tooth. Root canal therapy is necessary when an infection has developed within a tooth and has compromised your oral health. During this procedure, the interior portion of the tooth is cleaned to remove all traces of infection. The tooth is then restored with a filling or dental crown to provide strength and protection.
